Everything you need to know about reaching the island, your stay and life on Gulhi.
The most common route is a scheduled public speedboat ferry from Malé, near the airport. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. We recommend booking in advance, and we are happy to assist with the schedule and process. Private speedboat transfers can also be arranged on request for a higher fee.
Public speedboat schedules vary but typically run several times a day. The fare is usually around USD 25–30 per person, each way, paid directly to the operator. Please contact us for the most current timetable before you travel.
Gulhi enjoys warm weather year-round. The dry season (roughly November to April) brings the clearest skies and calmest seas, while the quieter months offer lush scenery and gentle rates. We are happy to advise on the best time for your plans.

Swimwear is welcome on the designated tourist beach. When moving through the village and inhabited areas, we ask that guests dress modestly out of respect for local culture — light, covering clothing is ideal.
